Imagine that you are the operations manager for service-based business. The organization can be hypothetical, or one that you are familiar with.

• Write a paper of approximately three (3) pages (double-spaced, single sided) that proposes a new or improved operations strategy to your management team. Select any one or two of goals listed below. You may also include a strategy not listed. Begin with a brief introduction to your company and the service it provides. Be sure to acknowledge the challenges and benefits associated with the proposed operations strategy, including potential cost, although you do not need to discuss specific numbers.

Operations strategic goals:

• Low cost
• Short processing time
• On-time delivery
• High-performance design
• High-quality processing
• Consistent quality

• Include a minimum of three sources, which may consist of readings from the University Library, your text, and other selections.
• Format your paper using West Writing Style Handbook guidelines
