History: Source analysis

Students will be required to prepare a written analysis (approx. 800 words) of a primary- source document from the in-class workshops. The analysis should: (1) consider how the document relates to the subject-position of its author, (2) analyze its specific interpretation of freedom and, and (3) evaluate if and how nationalism is deployed in the document.
