Research  your local county related to the course topics covered in Units 1–4 and  explain what your county resources are for victims of domestic violence to the Discussion Board. Within your posting, describe how  victims of domestic violence receive help through the police, through the courts, and through social agencies.  You may use the Kaplan Library or any other outside resource for your research. The best place to start would be the courts who prosecute domestic violence cases. Be sure to use proper APA citation. Review your fellow students’ postings and respond to at least three events by posting throughout the week.

Note:  Very few counties will not have any resources for domestic violence victims. This may require you doing some investigative research and making some phone calls. If you speak with someone and you quote them, be sure to use proper APA formatting to cite that interview in your references.
