Functioning Addicts Presentation

Choose a character from a movie or TV series who is a functioning addict.

Debate the relevancy of addiction on relationships and overall functioning in the context of the character:  Denzel Washington played a character by the name of Whip Whitaker in the movie Flight.   He was a pilot who was battling a drug and alcohol addiction.   He successfully crash lands a plane full of passengers and its during the investigation of the plane crash that he comes to terms with his addictions.

Discuss the following questions:

Are the problems any different from what families not facing issues with addiction may face? If so, how?

Each person needs 2-3 slides with speaker notes and references.

Format any citations within your presentation according to APA guidelines.
