Final Product

• Research paper of 7-8 pages plus title page, References Page(s), and (if needed) appendixes, illustrations, and charts. (No Abstract is needed.)
• The entire paper should be your original work. You may obtain assistance from the following:
• Initial topic brainstorming
• Peer Review discussion board comments
• Faculty member feedback

Editorial Style

As you write, keep the following in mind:

• Use clear, concise, complete sentences, transitions between paragraphs, standard spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Follow APA guidelines for a research paper.
• 1" margins, paragraph indent of .5" (Microsoft Word default)
• Times New Roman font, size 12 pt
• For APA guidelines go to your Rasmussen College online library, which you can access through the Resources tab in this course.
• NoodleTools online bibliography composer is an excellent resource.
• Contact your librarian or your faculty member for assistance and further information.

Required Research Resources

Use no fewer than eight resources in your final paper with citations in your References page. At least five of your research resources must appear in the Annotated Bibliography due Module 06.

• At least one resource should be a subject-specific book (electronic or print format is acceptable). Encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, thesauri, and like-reference resources arenot acceptable in this category.
• At least four resources should be newspaper, journal, or magazine articles retrieved from Rasmussen College Library databases.
• At least one resource should be a Peer Reviewed or scholarly journal article retrieved from a Rasmussen College Library database.
• Other resources may include, but are not limited to: websites, blogs, government documents, transcripts, television broadcasts, films, and microfilm or microfiche, and personal communication.
• Personal communication (in-person or email interview, etc.) may only be used as one of your source
