ESSAY IN APA FORMAT NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED

Writing is an indispensable part of the process of critical thinking, discovering ideas, and constructing knowledge. Writing, reading, and critical thinking skills are interrelated, and therefore, central to learning within all disciplines. In this course, students must complete one (4-5 page APA style) research project. Students will be required to attend at-least two presentations during the National African/Black Psychology Conference (November 3-5). FOR EACH PRESENTATION,

Students must: 1. Provide a ½ page summary of the presentation.

2. Relate presentation to at least TWO Traditional/Western theories of development. Back with support from your textbook.

3. Relate presentation to at least ONE Afrocentric Domain/Worldview.

4. Relate presentation to the developmental trends of African Americans.

5. Relate the presentation to a personalaspect of development. (You may use “I” in this section).

6. SUMMATION: Relate the two presentations to one another in a final summary paragraph
