One of the best ways to avoid plagiarism is to learn how to correctly paraphrase  sources. Sometimes this is not easy because we may be using some of the author's language when we get the main ideas for our research paper. In personal life, business life, and in college life, the question of the day is: How do we give people the credit they deserve? You may have know individuals who take credit for other people's achievements and also refuse to recognize the achievements of others. Is this the right thing to do?  For this week's forum, do the following:

 

(1) Make a general comment about how you feel about taking credit for someone else's work. What are the issues involved? Is this prevalent in our society?

(2) For your research, look up a "credible" source on paraphrasing APA style and paraphrase from that source. Giving the source credit. HAPPY PARAPHRASING!
