Effective Logo Design

Logos are all around us - from the products we purchase and the commercials on television, to advertisements in mobile apps or websites. Using the Internet, find and download at least three (3) different logo images, analyzing each of them for effective design techniques. Embed the images into a Microsoft Word document and compose a paragraph (at least 5 sentences), one for each image, that explains why they are effective. Your paragraphs should include several terms discussed in Elements of Art/Design and Principles of Design/Organization (Links to an external site.) http://flyeschool.com/content/elements-artdesign-and-principles-designorganization  by Rob Flye including, but not limited to:

• Color
• Typography (if the logo contains words)
• Line
• Balance, symmetry, and proportion
• Repetition
• Contrast
• Emphasis and focus

The written portion of the assignment must be relevant and insightful, providing an explanation of how the basic elements and principles of visual design apply to the logos presented.
