To ensure students of all ages are ready to perform in a 21^st century world, educators must be aware of what students need to know and be able to do.

Review the Framework for 21^st Century Learning on the P21 Partnership for 21^st Century Learning website using the link on your student course page.

Create a 2-page newsletter to parents based on the 21^st century skills listed on the website that includes the following:

• A personal, creative introduction
• A description of each of the 21^st century skills
• A description of how your personal philosophy of education created in Week 2 aligns with 21^st century skills
• How you will create a collaborative environment in your educational setting
• How you will effectively use technology in your educational setting
• How your setting will have a climate that promotes self-directed learning using research-based practices
• Graphics, use of white space, and creative formatting
