Regarding culture, what ideas seem particularly relevant in couples counseling (either in work you will do or are already doing)? This will certainly vary among each of you, as the helping roles you occupy are diverse. Feel free to describe a bit of the setting (that is the one you either are currently in or hope to be in) and how the ideas on cultural sensitivity relate to counseling circumstances (expected or encountered) in those particular settings. How might you further develop your own "intercultural sensitivity" (from the Stages link in the ppt) when doing couples counseling?
