When using the Rey Complex Figure Design, grasping the Gestalt of the design is a key factor in obtaining a higher score on the design. Subjects that fail to see the larger rectangle as the anchor for the design will struggle on immediate and delayed recall tasks for this assessment. How does failing to see the Gestalt relate to spatial organization?
