discussion and graph ?

I did a standard proctor test so, I need  a discussion and the that be related to what the optimum moisture content is for your representative sample, as well as what are the consequences of being over or below this optimum moisture content when testing the water content of a representative soil sample while backfilling against a structure.Also describe what the graph is telling you, if your points are linear and increasing from left to right or decreasing from left to right, what does that tell you about the experiment 

also why this experiment important for engineering ?
