DHS Second and Third Core Missions and Programs

The second and third core missions of the Department of Homeland Security are closely aligned and many of the DHS initiatives though administered by one agency support the efforts of another. Identify a DHS initiative or program, such as the secure border fence or the Trusted Traveler Program, that demonstrates support between the agencies of DHS. What role do the various agencies play in fulfilling this core mission of DHS? How does this program enhance the security of the homeland?
