This week, you will workshop the writing of your fellow students for the first time. We will be workshopping Nonfiction Assignment #2. Each piece will be posted to the discussion board as a separate thread for you to respond to. Depending upon the size of this class, you may be divided up into small groups, so as to not overburden you with too many essays to read.

Paying close attention to the rules of workshop etiquette spelled out on our syllabus, by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. eastern, a minimum of one paragraph’s worth of constructive criticism for each classmate’s essay. And, though it is not required, please consider responding to the points raised in other classmates critiques in order to deepen the discussion and make it more useful for the writer being critiqued.
