creative commons (digital media class)

Your task is to find out about an emerging alternative to traditional copyright.  This alternative is known as the Creative Commons.  Check out the link to go right to their web site to find out more.   You may wish check out the wikipedia entry first though for a more general description of the CC concept and additional background.

Thus, your task for this discussion is create a roughly one page description and summary of the CC effort and tell me what you think about the CC approach and then compare and contrast it with the more traditional copyright approach.
