Course Project below

To give the students an opportunity to delve further into a particular area of interest with regard to policing. The students will discuss, evaluate, and analyze a policing-specific topic selected from any area of the textbook, and they will research scholarly references and sources to support their opinions, positions, and writings, in order to gain a better understanding and knowledge of the area and subject of interest.

Guidelines

• The topic you are researching and writing about must come from a particular topic or subject of interest from our course textbook.
• Papers must be five to seven pages in length, Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced. In addition, include a cover page, table of contents, introduction, five-to-seven-page body, summary or conclusion, and works cited.
• Even though this is not a scientific writing assignment, and is mostly creative in nature, references are still very important. At least five authoritative, outside references are required (anonymous authors or Web pages are not acceptable). These should be listed on the last page titled "Works Cited."
• Appropriate citations are required.
• All DeVry University policies are in effect, including the plagiarism policy.
