Cost of Damage

Produce one column chart from the weather-related disaster costs and one line chart for the number of weather-related disaster events each year. Your graphs for all Excel assignments should adhere to the following guidelines. (This list should be referenced for all figures produced for subsequent quantitative assignments.)

• Each graph is numbered and has a clear and concise title located directly under the figure number.
• Blank, empty, white space should be minimized.
• The font for all parts of the graph are an appropriate scale and professional looking.
• The axes values are formatted professionally with concise and accurate axes labeled.
• Do not use color; vary the gray scale if necessary to create contrast as needed.
• Copy your chart from Excel and use the "Paste Special" function in MS Word and paste as a jpeg file to retain formatting.

Next, produce descriptive statistics using Excel, including the mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation only for both total weather-related damages and number of events costing over $1 billion. Place these in MS Word tables and provide a table number and title for each table. Please pay close attention to how you report data; be consistent in the number of decimal places presented and include data units.
