Comments on readings and Mini paper

What to do:

1. Choose a reading PRIOR to us discussing it in class.

2. Read it.

3. Think about it.

4. Read it again.

5. Think about it some more. Engage your brains.

6. Write down your questions, concerns, comments, cluelessness - tell me what you think about the reading in about a page.

Mini paper: 

Length: approx 2 pages

What to do: Remember that insightful comment you had on the reading? Still curious about that topic? Of course you are! Take one of your Comments on Readings and expand on it. Give a brief argument* as to why you agree or disagree with the author or something the author discussed.

*Note: your paper must present an argument - this is NOT a summary or general thoughts. You need to pick a viewpoint, have a conclusion (thesis), and offer reasons in support of that conclusion (premises).
