I need some assistance with the following project. Please read carefully.
For this week’s assignment, you will write five annotated bibliographies using the five research articles that you located in Week 1. For the annotations, you will identify the problem statement, purpose statement, research questions and findings reported in each of the five articles and summarize those research elements in the annotations. As you analyze the research articles and write the annotations, consider how the studies are similar and how they differ.
Instructions:
Paragraph 1
In the first paragraph, you will explain the problem statement for the study. Remember, if you use text verbatim from the original source, you must enclose that text in quotation marks and include a page number in parentheses for which that quoted text can be found in the article. You want to limit the amount of quoted text to less than 10 percent of your paper. Thus, don’t quote the problem statements verbatim for each of the five articles. Explain those statements in your own words.
Paragraph 2
The second paragraph for each annotation will explain the purpose statement of the research study. You will likely find this statement near the beginning of the research study. Locate the statement of the study purpose and explain that statement in your annotation.
Paragraph 3
The third paragraph for each annotation will explain or state the research questions that were either stated or implied in the research article. You may want to take these questions verbatim from the article. If so, be sure to indicate that you took them verbatim from the original source or enclose the questions in quotation marks to indicate that they were taken verbatim from the original source.
Paragraph 4
The fourth and final paragraph for each annotation will provide a brief explanation of the research findings. In other words, what was the answer to the research question? You will likely find this information at the end of the article or in the abstract of the study.
