1. What key characteristics contribute to the development of a stable civilization in the ancient world? Include examples from three (3) different civilizations for each characteristic. Which one characteristic do you think is the most important in sustaining the growth of a stable civilization? Why?

2. Describe how the locationof where an ancient civilization develops corresponds with the relationship that forms between the people of that civilization and their gods or deities? Make sure to use examples from at least two (2) ancient civilizations, please do not forget to inclue as much specific geographical information in your answer as possible.
