Your Unit 9 Assignment is an opportunity for you to apply the knowledge and strategies that you explored this term by (1) developing an integrated literature unit that focuses on math, science, and social studies skills, and (2) writing a lesson plan reflection.

As you know from the material covered in this class, an integrated curriculum is beneficial to teachers and students. When you use a theme (or in the case of this project, a book) you can more effectively teach many concepts and skills. The second part of this Assignment will give you an opportunity to discuss the lesson plans and share why inclusive and anti-bias learning environments are essential.
