Case Study

Case Study Development & Presentation            

The case study should relate to one or more of the themes of this course including organizational change, systems theory, and teamwork in organizations.

In a five page paper and accompanying visual presentation – address the following:

• Provide a thorough (not brief, as was the case with the prior cases you examined in this course) analysis and overview of the case.  Assume that reader is not familiar with the organization or issues and is relying solely on your paper and presentation.
• What were the major leadership issues? 
•  How were these issues addressed? 
• Assess the effectiveness to which these issues were addressed, based on the literature.
• Classify the leadership issues into one of the following three categories: 

          Change leadership, Team dynamics, or Organizational systems. 

Provide support in the professional literature as related to these three topics, from either within this course, from other courses in your graduate program, and/or other literature, to support your classification.

• Place yourself in the role of a leader in the presented scenario. 
• What would you actions have been? 
• How do your recommended actions compare to what was presented in the scenario? 
• Why?  Provide justification as based on the professional literature.
