You are the CIO of a large organization that has been suffering a declining market share for the last several years. You realize the importance of a business intelligence system and how this can help your organization regain its competitive advantage, but your upper management is reluctant to allocate the funding or resources for what they consider a risky venture and yet another data-processing system since there are already so many in your organization.
Develop a critical essay proposal paper to your CEO explaining that a business intelligence system is not a waste of time and money and how it might actually turn the business around.
