Assignment:

1)  Watch the video under the Resources tab titled “Finding Authoritative Sources”.  Email the professor your responses to the assignment at the end of the video.

2)  During the 1990s and into the 2000s a juvenile super predator myth drove statutory and policy development throughout the nation.  Using federal or state government publications and/or peer reviewed journal articles:

            a) explain the super predator myth and

            b) thoroughly discuss the effect the myth had upon:

                        i) juveniles, and

                        ii) law enforcement, and

                        iii) corrections, and

                        iv) courts and

                        v) society.

3) Specifically explain in one paragraph how our university’s core value of RESPECT applies to specific contents of the textbook readings for this module and include a citation and page number..
