You have been painting as long as you can remember—primarily serene landscapes of mountains, lakes, and streams in watercolor. You display your paintings at the local fair, sell some to friends and relatives, and gift a few. Recently, you were approached by a professional from the art world who believes you can market your paintings to a much larger audience and make a good profit.

Before you can start selling to a wider audience you need to prepare a 5- to 7-page paper to:

• Discuss the demographics and psychographics of your target market.

• Discuss the possible needs and goals of your potential consumers.

• Analyze the following aspects:

• dogmatism
• social character
• need for uniqueness
• Discuss how the above issues contribute to your marketing efforts.
