Using the notes from Chapter 1 in the textbook, discuss the following in your post:

1. With so many different state political cultures, is it possible to ever come to consensus on issues like gun control, gay marriage, marijuana legalization, abortion, and education? Is it necessary to come to consensus or should we just respect the differences of each state political culture? Explain your answer and give examples to support your position.
