Position paper: Does family structure affect social problems?
Some people have claimed that any departure from the “traditional” nuclear family is an indicator of a social problem. Please take a position either for or against this claim, and support your stance with examples and evidence from our course materials and your own research. Finished papers should be about 2-3 pages in length, with the usual margins and fonts.
An okay paper will have only course materials and internet pages cited. An excellent paper will get into some peer-reviewed research on family structure and provide citations.
