This week, you focused on the new view of transnationalism. Stemming from nationalism, which was the traditional view, transnationalism is the current view on world politics. In this assignment, you will investigate transnationalism in greater detail, and explore other topics that relate to transnationalism and global politics.

In addition to transnationalism, you were introduced to non-governmental organizations. In later units, you will explore the various types in greater detail. However, in this assignment, begin to build your understanding of non-governmental organizations. Complete the following:

• Define the concept of transnationalism.
• Analyze changes in the following areas, which have promoted globalization:
  • Transportation.
  • Communications.
  • International economic exchange.
  • Cultural amalgamation.
• Provide a definition of a non-governmental organization.
  • Include examples of how non-governmental organizations are having an effect on global politics.

The length of your paper should be determined by its content, and it should follow APA format. Add headers as appropriate, include a reference page at the end of your paper, and be sure to properly cite and provide references for material you use in your paper, per APA guidelines.
