Assessing Quality

Consider a company with which you are familiar and a product produce or service they provide.

Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper in which you answer the following:

• What are some control factors that might be used in the production of the product or performance of the service and how might they be used?
• How might the organization use technology to improve performance and quality?
• What are the best ways to use information technology in the organization and what are some of the limitations?

Create a rating tool for the product or service. 

• List the factors for rating the product's quality and then rate your product or service from 1 to 10 (1 as the lowest, 10 the highest) for each factor.
• Include reasons for each of the ratings that you assigned to the product or service.
• Calculate an overall average rating for the product or service to see where it falls on your 1 to 10 scale.

Provide appropriate citations for any references used. 

Format the paper consistent with APA guidelines.
