1- Select an artwork that you like.  Describe the artwork very carefully using the vocabulary you have acquired in class.  What is unusual about the work of art?  What questions does this unusual aspect inspire?  (200 words + picture of that artworkk)

2- Pick an artist who represents your interests.  For example, if you love sports, you may want to examine Leroy Neiman.  For fashion, you may want to investigate Soriano’s clothes etc.  If you love film, pick a movie.  Pick one work by the artist and analyze it.  Start with a description, then an analysis (what is the artist trying to say, how does the artist create meaning in the work of art?).
