Assignment Instructions:
Produce a brief summary introducing the governmental agency that will be studied during the term. The summary must contain each of the elements identified under assignment requirements below. The agency I have chosen is Administration on Aging.
Assignment requirements:
Prepare a 3-4 page summary containing the following elements:
- An Introduction to the Agency under Examination.
- An Agency Background Overview.
- The Agency’s Mission and Vision Statements.
- Identification and summary of any Enabling Legislation.
- Graphic Representation of the Agency’s Organizational Structure.
- Length should be 3-4 pages, excluding cover page and references; typed double spaced in 10-12 point font (Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman are acceptable).
- Use proper APA style throughout and citations and references for the paper.
- Assignment should follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.).
- Writing should be well ordered, logical and unified, as well as original and insightful.
- Work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics.
- Appropriate citation style should be followed.
The purpose of the Agency Introduction Assignment is to allow you to identify, describe, and analyze the agency or organization that you will be focusing on throughout this course for course Assignments and the Final Project.
