On pages 39 - 40 of the textbook, the need to avoid generalizations is discussed using an example of the Power Distance Dimension (PDI) between two contrasting cultures - Malaysia and Austria. In the “Individualism and Collectivism” section of the textbook, Table 1.2 shows the United States and Guatemala as contrasting cultures. Propose a project management approach that might be successful in accommodating team members from the U. S. and Guatemala without allowing the individualism/collectivism contrast to be a problem.
