Curriculum and Course Designing Challenges

Designing a course is a challenging, demanding, and time-consuming task. Some of the characteristics of designing a course include an evaluation of the effectiveness of technology to support learning, the development of an instrument for assessing the learner's mastery of the learning objectives, and a methodology to ensure the quality of the learning experience.

Another attribute of designing a course is to evaluate Bloom's taxonomy of learning domains during your assessment process.

  • An explanation of the role of assessment in program or course development
